He was taken prisoner in Atricourt (place name given by the German archives) on March 23, 1918. and he was interned in the Limburg camp. In July 1918 he was transferred to Quedlinburg, where this photograph was taken. It represents 12 English as well as German doctors and nurses in the city hospital.
