The final was held at Parkside on Wednesday 15th April 1908 (6pm). Mr J C Lumley was the referee, Albert and Walter Goldthorpe ran the line.
St Hilda's played Bramley National in an exciting match which was played in front of about 2000 spectators. Fine forward work set up Hill who scored an unconverted first half try for St Hilda's. Only good tackling from Lake and Thompson prevented Bramley from drawing level before the break. The second stanza was scoreless although both sides had chances and so it finished 3 - 0 in favour of St Hilda's school.
After the game Jane Goldthorpe again made the presentation of the Cup and medals.
