Albert Goldthorpe and Family

The Rugby League Hall of Fame which was established in 1988 to commemorate the greatest ever players in British rugby league. In 2015 Albert became the 24th player to be inducted into the games ultimate pantheon.

The induction took place at the International Series and Rugby League Hall of Fame Dinner which was held at the Imperial War Museum, Salford. In addition to Albert's on field achievements it was said that he represented much more than sport. He was a symbol of Hunslet and its community - and of the very spirit of Rugby League itself.
