The 2024 final was contested at the South Leeds Stadium on February 26th. Cockburn last seasons runners up were bidding to go one better this year. Bruntcliffe last lifted the trophy back in 2011.
Bruntcliffe enjoyed plenty of field position early on and they opened the scoring with a converted try. Then they followed that up with an unconverted try. Cockburn got themselves back in the game with two spectacular long range tries, one of which was converted. The teams then exchanged tries and it was 14 - 14 at the break with everything still to play for.
During the second half Bruntcliffe started to dominate and ran in three more tries without reply. In the end they ran out winners by 32 points to 14.
After the match various presentations were made by Phil Holmes, Eric Hallas, Josh Jordan-Roberts and Stephen McGrail.
